The Radix 8-layer leafy greens module is a flagship high-density vertical hydroponic system that delivers maximum production output for commercial indoor farming.
In addition, it fully utilizes vertical space and provides one of the highest yields per square meter within the Radix system range.
This configuration supports large-scale indoor farms and professional growers seeking maximum efficiency, scalability, and production performance.
Flexible Growing Configurations
The system provides advanced flexibility for different crop strategies. For example, growers can adapt it to multiple hydroponic methods and production goals:
- Adjustable water levels allow operation as NFT (shallow flow) or DWC (deep water culture)
- Each growing layer includes two movable raft trays for efficient crop handling and harvesting
- Configurable raft systems:
- 180-hole rafts adjustable to 90 holes
- 54-hole rafts adjustable to 27 holes
- Integrated shade caps prevent light penetration and maintain optimal root zone stability
- Additional low-density raft options (18 holes) available for larger crops
- Compatible with propagation and microgreens systems
